JV started district play with 7-0 victory over Lamar on Thursday night at Lamar High School. Jacob Tamayo struck out 3 in 5 1/3 innings while Spencer Johnston got the final 5 outs (2 K’s) for a combined shut out. Short, Mason, Hall & Davis get 2 hits each.
